What thoughts I choose to entertain or dismiss reflect who I allow Authority to determine what I AM, who I AM (identity), how I AM (lifestyle), and why I AM (image).
That Authority is Who I trust to influence and shape my perception of self, others, and the world around me through the adoption of their beliefs as my own.
How I live serves and glorifies that Authority through active demonstration of the beliefs and identity they gave me.
Why I exist is to represent and be in relationship with that Authority through the thoughts I choose to entertain, who I trust, and how I live.
In the end, the Authority I choose to be an image of is my I AM.
Whether the Authority I choose is God, self, or something else, it is the Highest Power in my life and represents where I place my faith.
Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”
Jesus said to him, “I AM the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
